Taken from a small town in Germany, for many the name Granzin has become synonymous with barbecue in and around New Braunfels.
Starting as a 400-square-foot operation, Granzin Bar-B-Q has been serving New Braunfels customers for more than 35 years—the last 13 of which have been at a full-service restaurant and drive-thru location on San Antonio Street in downtown New Braunfels.
“It’s the variety of stuff we have. We hit everybody’s taste buds, whatever they might be,” Granzin Bar-B-Q owner Miles Granzin said about the restaurant’s continued popularity. “Even if you’re not a barbecue person, we’ve got other things for you.”
